Freddie Mac Prices $345.6 Million Multifamily K-Deal

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - May 23, 2017) - Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) recently priced a new offering of Structured Pass-Through Certificates (K Certificates), backed by fixed-rate multifamily mortgages with 10 year terms. The company expects to issue approximately $345.6 million in K Certificates (K-IR2 Certificates), which are backed by four properties located in Irvine, California. The K-IR2 Certificates are expected to settle on or about May 31, 2017.

The K-IR2 Certificates will not be rated, and include two senior principal and interest classes and one interest-only class. The K-IR2 Certificates are backed by corresponding classes issued by the FREMF 2017-KIR2 Mortgage Trust (K-IR2 Trust) and guaranteed by Freddie Mac. The K-IR2 Trust will also issue certificates consisting of the Class B and R Certificates, which will be subordinate to the classes backing the K-IR2 Certificates. The K-IR2 Trust Class B and R Certificates will not be guaranteed by Freddie Mac.
